Merseyside PR firm Artemis Media has secured huge national coverage for its client Scantec Personnel on BBC One’s News at Ten.
Birkenhead based Scantec, is one of the UK’s leading technical recruitment firms and has a turnover of £60m. Its chairman John Robinson appeared on the programme on Friday April 30 discussing the UK’s pensions timebomb.
Mr Robinson, who was voted Wirral Business Person of the Year in 2009, told viewers that public sector pensions needed to become sustainable to be afforded in the long term.
Scantec runs its own pension scheme for its employees but it is not a final salary scheme like many in the public sector, which will be funded by future taxation.
The report contained panoramic views of the Liverpool water front and Mersey ferries.
Artemis director Ben Pinnington said the firm was passionate about hard news and determined to secure maximum exposure for its clients.
“We work hard to generate the best possible coverage,” he said. “We are ambitious and believe clients can build a national profile as well as regional and trade profile.”
